A year with Emma Rose.
Lets talk about my niece Emma! I cannot believe she is almost 18 months already.
why does time fly so fast?
I was in the delivery room when she was born. It was an amazing experience for me since I had two C-Sections. Jackie arrived at the hospital at 9 am on July 30th and Emma was born at 4:28am on July 31, 2014.
Months before Emma arrived I was planning her Newborn Session. I couldn't wait for her to be here! As you know, I have two boys! So having a little girl in the family was A-MA-ZING!
Emma was about 4 months when we did her first Christmas session! There is something so magical about a first Christmas. I am not sure what it is but the feeling is overwhelming with joy.
Her six month session was my favorite session ever. That personality of hers just shined through each image. She was so cute and happy! ugh I just love her so much!! I think it was about this time that I started calling myself her Other Mother. I would hashtag my Instagram pictures with #threemoms. Thankfully my sister and her wife were ok with it!! They still let me say it and go along with it! :) They are definitely not helping with my obsession!
It was around 10 months when I started coming to the realization that OMG, she is turning ONE soon!!
How can that be? How did these months fly by like that? She is going to be walking and talking soon!
And now the time has come. SHE IS ONE! Man, did the past year go by fast or what? She blossomed into the prettiest little girl. She is so independent and just so happy!
For her first birthday we all went to Montauk, NY for a mini vacation for the weekend. It was a beautiful weekend filled with celebrations for Emma Rose.
